Make a day of it and enrol in both Parts 1 and 2 of the Introduction to Paper Folding.

In the morning you will complete the ‘Introduction to Paper Folding’ workshop where you will be guided through the process of making three functional pieces using just a few simple folds. You will gain a good basic knowledge of the craft, become familiar with tools and different types of papers.

In the afternoon, you will build on these skills and works on more complex structures and designs. You’ll leave with skills, knowledge and lots of new ideas of items to fold for yourself at home in your own time and I guarantee you will be amazed with how far you have come in just one day!

A choice of pre-cut high quality, coloured paper will be provided as well as all the tools and materials you will need.

No experience necessary and all ages welcome (under 14s must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class).

Refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) will be provided during the mid-morning and mid-afternoon break. There will be a hour for lunch - feel free to bring something with you or visit the cafe on site.

Edinburgh Printmakers is a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Haymarket train station or a 15-minute walk from Princes Street.
